Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL) has released a new recruitment notification for the year 2026 for the post of Technician on Contract (CNC Operator). Eligibility Criteria for ECIL Technician Recruitment 2026
Before applying, candidates must ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions prescribed by ECIL.
Nationality
The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
Age Limit (as on 31.12.2025)
Maximum Age Limit: 27 years (as on the cut-off date mentioned in notification)
Age Relaxation
- OBC: 3 years (up to 38 years)
- SC/ST: 5 years (up to 40 years)
- PwBD: 10 years in addition to the relaxation applicable to the categories mentioned above (minimum 40% disability or more)
- Age Relaxation for J&K Domicile: 5 years for candidates who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir from 01/01/1980 to 31/12/1989
Educational Qualification:
- Technicians: ITI certificate in the relevant trade (Machinist/Turner) with at least 60% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST).
- Supervisors: Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Production/Electrical) with 60% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST).
- Experience: Mandatory 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience in CNC operation, programming, or maintenance.

Salary/Stipend
Technician on Contract
- 1st Year: ₹30,000 per month
- 2nd Year: ₹32,000 per month
- 3rd Year: ₹34,000 per month
- 4th Year: ₹36,000 per month
Supervisor on Contract
- 1st Year: ₹35,000 per month
- 2nd Year: ₹37,000 per month
- 3rd Year: ₹39,000 per month
- 4th Year: ₹41,000 per month
