The National Testing Agency has released the online CUET UG 2026 Notification for admission to undergraduate programmes in Central and participating universities. CUET UG 2026 will offer admission to Central, State, Deemed, and Private universities across India through a single entrance exam. The CUET UG Exam 2026 will be conducted from 11th May to 31st May 2026 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. NTA will hold CUET UG 2026 in 13 different languages in India and abroad. The online application process for CUET UG 2026 will remain open from 03 to 30 January 2026 till 11:50 PM.

Application Fee
Candidates can choose a maximum of five subjects from all three sections of CUET exam. In order to process the application form, candidates need to pay a certain amount in the form of a CUET application fee. Below are the category-wise CUET UG application fee details depending on the number of subjects opted.

Selection Process
The CUET is an entrance exam for admission to bachelors level courses offered by the participating institutes. The CUET UG admission process is explained below:

The candidates who wish to apply for the CUET UG Exam 2026 must have passed class 12th or equivalent from a recognised university. The eligibility criteria for admission may differ from University to University, so candidates are advised to consult the University’s website for the program to which they are applying. Important points to note about the CUET Eligibility are:
- There is no age limit to appear for the CUET UG 2026 exam.
- Candidates who have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination, or those who are appearing in the Class 12 exam in 2026, can apply for CUET UG 2026.
- However, candidates must meet the age requirements and eligibility rules set by the university or institution where they want to take admission.

- CUET UG 2026 will be conducted only in CBT mode.
