Eligibility Criteria

Selection Process
Phase I: Online Test
The first hurdle is a computer-based objective test.
- Duration: 45 minutes.
- Subjects: English (20 questions) and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA) (30 questions).
- Marking: +1 for correct answers, 0 for unattempted, and -0.25 for wrong answers.
- Note: You must pass English and RAGA separately.
Phase II: Physical & Adaptability
If you make the Phase I cutoff, you’ll be called to a designated Airmen Selection Centre.
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Includes a 1.6 km run, 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, and 20 squats.
- Adaptability Test-II: A situation-based test to see if you can handle the unique lifestyle of the IAF.
Phase III: Medical Examination
Conducted by the Air Force Medical Team to ensure you meet the IAF Medical Standards. This includes:
- Blood & Urine tests.
- X-Ray (Chest PA view).
- ECG.
- General physical exam (Hearing, Dental, Vision).
Phase IV: Final Merit List
- Provisional Selection List (PSL): Published on 01 December 2026 based on your performance in the online exam and physical/medical fitness.
