This is the primary screening stage. The exam is computer-based (CBT) and consists of 180 multiple-choice questions.

  • Negative Marking1/4th (0.25) of the marks assigned to a question will be deducted for every wrong answer.
  • Bilingual Format: All sections except English are available in both English and Hindi.

Stage 2: Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

Candidates who score high enough in the Online Exam (approximately 5 times the number of vacancies) are shortlisted for the LPT.
